CSIRO Climate
As part of an ongoing relationship with the CSIRO Discovery Centre ES were recently commissioned to design, develop, fabricate and install the new CSIRO Climate exhibit space.
This exhibit is an combination of exciting interpretive design and reconfiguring of existing infrastructure. The thematic design is based on the abstraction of ice and air and serves to highlight the key elements in the climate change issue. By emphasising the background profile and dynamic down-lit chandelier this design also references ice melt and air temperature rise graph lines. Also included in the exhibit space is a specially designed digital interactive that draws on key themes presented. A touch-screen interactive allows visitors select and arrange household appliances to represent the impact they have on the environment. -
